Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from Punta Gorda, Florida
southwestward to 26590W and to inland Mexico just south of
Tampico. The front will stall from near Fort Myers, Florida to
25N89W and to southern Texas by early This evening, then
gradually dissipate through Fri. Strong high pressure building
behind the front will shift eastward through Fri as a weak cold
front approaches eastern Texas. This next front may move over
the far northern Gulf on Sat afternoon, then stall, weaken and
dissipate by early Mon. No significant impacts on winds and seas
are expected from this front. Fresh to strong northeast to east
winds will linger over the southeastern and south-central Gulf
waters Fri night through Sun.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A stationary front extends from 27N55W to 26N63W and
dissipating to the central Bahamas. The front will weaken and 
dissipate by late tonight. A cold front is over the waters east of
northern Florida. It extends from 31N77W to inland central 
Florida near Melbourne This front will reach from near 31N63W to 
the NW Bahamas and to South Florida tonight, then become 
stationary near 25N by late Fri afternoon. High pressure will 
build in the wake of the front, with increasing winds and building
seas across most of the forecast waters W of 65W. Long-period 
north to northeast swell will impact the waters between the 
southeastern Bahamas and Puerto Rico with rough seas during the 
weekend.

27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft, building to 5 to 7 ft N of 27N in the 
afternoon.
