Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Reinforcing high pressure north of area will allow
the stationary front located over the northern Gulf coast to
move SE as a cold front over the N waters today before
dissipating tonight. A ridge will build westward across the
basin, with a high pressure cell remaining over the eastern
Gulf. Moderate to fresh southerly return flow will set-up across
the western and central Gulf on Fri and Sat, ahead of the next
cold front forecast to enter the NW Gulf by Sat morning.
Increasing winds and building seas are expected in the wake of
the front. Frequent gusts to gale force are possible behind the
front.

.SYNOPSIS...Reinforcing high pressure over the eastern of US
will push a cold front off NE Florida by this evening. The front
will move across the northern forecast waters through Thu night
before dissipating. High pressure will build across the region
in the wake of the front, producing moderate to fresh NE to E
winds S of 22N, and mainly gentle to moderate winds N of 22N Thu
night through Sun night.

.TODAY...S of 27N, E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S in the
afternoon. N of 27N, SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of
27N, and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N.
