Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface ridge will prevail across the area through
today, with fresh SE return flow persisting over the western
Gulf. A cold front will move off the Texas coast and into the NW
Gulf this evening, cross the northern and central waters this
weekend, then weaken and stall over the southern Gulf Sun night
into Mon. Another cold front may move into the NW Gulf Tue into
Tue night.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SAT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
in the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Sebastien near 24.8N 57.0W 999 mb at 4
AM EST moving ENE at 13 kt. Maximum sustained winds 50 kt gusts 
60 kt. Sebastien will continue to accelerate northeastward away 
from the forecast waters today. A cold front extending from 22N61W
to near Puerto Rico will continue moving eastward and steer 
Sebastien into the central Atlantic. High pressure will build 
behind the cold front across the northern waters through Sat, then
shift eastward Sat night. The next cold front will cross the 
region Sun through Mon, weakening near 70W Tue and Tue night.

.TODAY...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 4 to 6 ft N of 27N.
