Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Dorian is near 24.5N 69.8W 972 mb at 11 AM
EDT moving NW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 95 kt with
gusts to 115 kt. Dorian will intensify to a major hurricane as
it moves to 25.3N 71.0W by this evening. Dorian will reach the
northern Bahamas near by Sun evening, then continue across the
northern Bahamas toward Florida as an extremely dangerous major
hurricane through early Mon, before moving inland over Florida
by early Tue. On its current forecast path, effects from Dorian
could start to be felt over portions of the eastern Gulf of
Mexico as early as Mon. Elsewhere, a low pressure center will
move west across the southeastern Gulf today, south-central Gulf
Saturday, then into the western Gulf by Sunday.

move toward 25.9N 72.7W Sat morning, near 26.3N 74.5W by Sat
evening,  near 26.6N 76.1W by Sun morning, then into the
northern Bahamas  near 26.7N 77.5W by Sun evening. Dorian will
continue across the  northern Bahamas toward Florida as an
extremely dangerous major  hurricane through early Mon, before
moving inland over Florida by  early Tue.

5 to 10 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 8 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.SAT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. SE winds 10 to 15 kt
S of 27N, and NE to E 15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 12 ft in SE
swell. Scattered showers. 
.SAT NIGHT...HURRICANE CONDITIONS EXPECTED. S of 27N,E winds 10 
to 15 kt, shifting to W after midnight. N of 27N, winds increasing
to 35 to 40 kt after midnight then increasing further to 45 to 65
kt by early Sun morning. Seas building to 16 ft, reaching 35 kt
near the Bahamas.
