Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak trough over the north central Gulf will
dissipate by early this evening as it drifts into the NW Gulf.
Weak high pressure will build over the NE Gulf through early
next week. Farther south, a trough will develop each afternoon
over the Yucatan Peninsula and move offshore to across the Bay
of Campeche each evening, bringing fresh to locally strong
northeast winds to the eastern Bay of Campeche during the
evening hours. Ample deep moisture will continue to spread from
the northwestward Caribbean toward the southern and SW Gulf
through at least Tue, leading to an increase of showers and
thunderstorms, some of which may contain strong gusty winds,
frequent lightning and rough seas. 

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NW to N in
the late evening and overnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
.MON...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A relatively weak high pressure ridge will remain
along 23N through before shifting northward to 26N Wed night
through Thu night. A weak cold front will move across the 
northern and central waters Mon and Mon night, then stall from 
near 29N65W to near 26N75 Tue afternoon. Fresh to strong 
southwest winds will precede the front across the north-central 
northeast forecast waters. East winds will pulse to strong
speeds  this afternoon and tonight between the Bahamas and
Hispaniola.  Gentle to generally moderate winds will continue
elsewhere through the period. Ample atmospheric moisture over
the western waters  including waters around the Bahamas will
continue to produce  scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms through this  evening. Some of this activity may
be accompanied by locally  strong gusty winds and rough seas.

27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft S of 27N and 2 to 3 ft N of 27N. Scattered 
showers and thunderstorms.

showers and thunderstorms.
.MON...S of 27N,SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N late in
the afternoon. N of 27N ,W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or
less. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
.MON NIGHT...S of 27N, N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to W late. N
of 27N,W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Isolated showers
