Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front that extends from S Florida near 25N81W
to the SW Gulf near 21N93W stalls towards N of Veracruz, Mexico.
The front will pass through the Straits of Florida today and
move out of the area tonight. A surface trough will develop on
Mon morning in the SW Gulf extending northward to the Texas
coastal waters through mid-week. The trough will shift W and
inland by the end of the week as ridging builds in from the E. A
weak cold front will move across the northern waters Thu
afternoon through Fri evening when it is expected to dissipate
just N of Tampa Bay. 

.TODAY...N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 to
4 ft in the late morning and afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extending from 30N75W to near West Palm
Beach Florida will reach from 30N64W to the Turks and Caicos on
early Tue morning, from 24N65W to N of Hispaniola early on Wed,
stalling on Thu morning from 25N65W to 24N68W before dissipating
E of the area over the weekend. Fresh to locally strong winds
are expected N of 29N today and tonight as the front moves
eastward. Another  cold front may drop S of 31N Fri and Fri
night. The marine  conditions will remain fairly tranquil,
overall, during the next  several days. 

.TODAY...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...N winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 10 to 15 kt
