Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal boundary crosses the northern Gulf from
Apalachicola Florida to weak 1018 mb low pres centered near
30N88W to Brownsville, Texas. The low will exit NE Gulf waters
by Mon morning. The strong cold front trailing the low will move
SE and exit the SE Gulf on Tue morning. Gale winds are forecast
near Tampico Mon and Mon night and near Veracruz Mon night and
Tue morning.  

.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON...SE winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to NW to N in the
afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.MON NIGHT...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 9 ft. 
.TUE...N to NE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

Straits by Tue  morning. A strong low pres area is expected to
rapidly develop  along the front just NE of the Bahamas Wed
evening. Gales are likely over the waters N of 27N Wed night and
Thu.
