Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough from central Florida to the central Gulf
with embedded weak area of low pres will drift north and weaken
through Thu, as high pressure builds across the region. A
thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each
evening, move W during the overnight hours, dissipating over the
SW Gulf each morning. 

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers. 
.THU...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft in the late morning and afternoon. Scattered showers.

.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Emily is meandering near 31.0N
 78.0W this morning. It is expected to move N of the area later
this morning supporting fresh to strong winds within a couple 
hundred nm SE of the low. Building high pressure in the wake of 
Emily will allow strong winds to pulse off Hispaniola and 
approaches to the Windward Passage through Fri. 

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to 10 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft in the evening, subsiding to 2 ft or less,
then, building to 3 ft late. Scattered showers. 
.THU...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
