Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak trough extending from TD Emily over the W
Atlc into the central Gulf will drift north through mid week, as
high pressure builds across the southern Gulf. The ridge will
then build northward late this week.  

.TODAY...S to SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft until late
afternoon, subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Emily is just E of central 
Florida near 28.3N 80.1W at 5 am EDT, moving ENE at 10 kt. Max 
winds 25 kt with gusts to 35 kt. It is expected to continue 
moving to the ENE, reaching 29.4N 78.6W this afternoon, 31.0N 
76.5W tonight, then move N of the area Wed morning. A tropical 
wave passing S of Hispaniola will freshen trade winds north of
the island through Tue night, and with strong winds pulsing off 
Hispaniola and the approaches to the Windward Passage through
Fri.

.TODAY...S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 20 to 30 kt N 
of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 9 ft N of 27N. Numerous
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, SE winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, SW winds
20 to 25 kt, becoming SW to W 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas
3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.WED...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of 27N.
